What is Green Power?
Green Power is renewable energy sourced from the sun, the wind, water and waste that is produced and/or purchased by Council/Industry or an energy company. GS Energy will be a green power supplier generating electricity and supplying retail electricity to individual customers and/or wholesale to the central power grid.

Traditionally, electricity on the central grid comes from generators that burn coal. Currently 8% comes from renewable sources such as sun, wind, water, and biomass waste.

GS Energy products will comply with current high environmental standards and electricity from all GS Energy power stations using and Corky’s technology and methodologies will provide green power or renewable energy sources while contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Power Wholesale (WIS)
All waste is processed by carbonation and gasification, hence generating green power through syngas engines and heat turbines. The green power carries RECS and therefore a valuable commodity for the future. Income is generated for station owners through the sale of the power to contracted wholesale customers.

Power Retail (GS Energy Retail)
Power generated by all GS Energy power and waste management stations can be sold through GS Energy as an electricity retailer. The sale of this power will have specific arrangements in place to provide benefits to shareholders and other customers.

Bio-char is a carbon-rich solid product produced by heating biomass under oxygen-limited conditions. Bio-Char has many applications which we are developing:
GSE Bio-Char - as an ‘organic soil conditionerGSE Bio-Brique and Lump-Char – for heat and cookingGSE Bio-Coal - as a powerful ‘green’ fuel source

Through the carbonation and gasification process for waste tyres, the power and waste management stations produce char containing high tensile steel product. This steel is a very high quality steel and is separated and sold to steel recyclers.

The innovative technology utilised to carbonise and gasify large quantities of waste in our combined closed cycle process generates “Carbon Neutral” green power, making these totally environmentally responsible in the 21st century.

Through the waste carbonation and gasification process enormous heat is generated at the gasifier. Much of this heat below 85°c at the heat exchanges will be wasted if not ulitised. This heat can be used to provide hot water and/or refrigeration via an absorption chiller and can be sold to specific customers at a much lower price than other traditional heating methods yet still providing excellent income for the power station owners.
