Our Management Team

Our Management Team is focused on carrying out the business strategies and operational plans adopted by the Board of Directors with a key focus on delivering real environmental and economic benefits for Industry, Councils and Communities.

GS Energy’s Board of Directors provides strategic direction and guidance for the Company’s management team while continuing to maintain its high standards and values for GS Energy to deliver real benefits to it clients and shareholders. The Company’s Directors bring a broad range of skills and experience for continuous development and sales of its innovative waste to energy power stations and the service levels GS Energy wish to provide its customers.

The GS Energy board has adopted a management structure that is supported by experienced staff and “external consultants and/or contractors”.

GS Energy’s Business Structure will be reviewed annually in order to ensure that it best serves organizational needs and operational requirements. This will ensure that the organizational structure supports current day to day needs while allowing for future growth.

Ray Ferdinand – General Manager
Ray is charged with the implementing the GS Energy’s board’s decisions while leading a team of experienced Managers to deliver economic yet sustainable outcomes for its shareholders and subsidiary companies. Ray’s also drives specific areas of business development with GSE’s WtE Station’s, Syn-Gas Engine development and manufacture and other commodity trading. His focus is on ensuring economic and environmentally sustainable outcomes for its customers, waste suppliers and its associated companies.

Keith Ferdinand – Marketing and Sales Manager
Keith is tasked with achieving the company’s WtE station and Belliss turbine sales targets through innovative sales and marketing practices, while ensuring real value for money is provided to proposed customers. Where GSE will operate its own WtE stations Keith’s role will extend to station feedstock reliability responsibilities ensuring station sustainability in its operations.

Amanda Ferdinand – Executive Assistant
Amanda provides administrative support and assistance to the General Manager and the Marketing and Sales Manager supporting marketing initiatives and IT development.

Scott Britton – Business Operations Manager
Scott’s role is to implement GSE’s adopted policies and quality assurance procedures for the company. Scott also implements the company’s risk assessment and mitigation program to ensure financial security for the company and GSE developed WtE power stations. His role extends to ensure compliance in the company’s overall corporate objectives providing efficient yet effective short and long-term operations.

Jan Ferdinand – Finance Manager
Jan is responsible for the company’s accounting practices establishing appropriate financial tools and processes ensuring effective financial management. Jan also carries out and provides the company’s human relations and staff support services.

Paul Ferdinand – Project Manager - Construction
Paul is tasked with power station project contract and construction management ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget. His tasks include ensuring adequate and appropriate staff and subcontractors deliver contract requirements providing quality workmanship and value in completed projects.

Michael Ferdinand – Project Manager - Exports
Michael’s responsibility is to co-ordinate the supply and delivery of goods in accordance with sales contracts, specifications and schedules ensuring genuine customer satisfaction. His role will drive efficiency in the company’s export operations ensuring delivery of quality products while promoting repat business from satisfied customers.

GS Energy is admirably supported through the expertise and experience of the Executive Directors and Senior Chemical Engineers from Corky’s Carbon and Combustion Pty Ltd. These Executives and Engineers provide the expertise and ongoing support for the patented gasification and scrubbing technology used in GSE WtE Stations.
